Mochi Story

Mochi was inspired by a real stray cat named Mimi from Toa Payoh, Singapore.

When the founder was young, Mimi would often be found resting around the neighborhood.
Over time, Mimi became a familiar and beloved presence to many in the community. People would feed her, play with her, and watch her lazily sunbathe throughout the day.

Mimi had a personality that was impossible to forget — lazy, cozy, and a little mischievous. She loved snacks, naps, and would sometimes chase other cats away as if she ruled the entire block.

But during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, Mimi suddenly disappeared.

Even after she was gone, the founder would often walk home hoping to see Mimi waiting downstairs again.

Although Mimi was never seen again, the memories never left.

So Mochi was created.

Mochi carries the same spirit — a cozy little cat who loves sleeping, stealing snacks, playing with yarn, and pretending to be innocent after causing a bit of chaos.

Mochi is a reminder of the small, warm moments we share with the animals that quietly become part of our lives.

And somewhere out there, maybe Mimi is still napping in the sun.
